Breastfeeding - Milk coming through at 22 Weeks

Hi Everyone,

I'm almost 22 Weeks pregnant and this evening I noticed I was leaking already. Very excited as my milk supply was so poor with DC1 so we had to combo feed, hoping to EBF with DC2.

Does anyone have any tips on how to encourage a Healthy supply with so many weeks to go?

TIA Smile

I dont think you can encourage a supply until baby is born.

When you get to around 37 weeks you could do some hand expressing of colostrum and freeze it in syringes. Then if you have problems getting BF established, you have a supply to syringe feed. I did this a bit but I wish I'd done more as DD wouldn't latch at birth and it really would have taken the pressure off a bit to have a bigger supply at home.
