Metal taste in my mouth

This seems so trivial but I have the WORST metallic taste in my mouth. It’s there constantly, making my food taste weird and affecting my appetite. I didn’t really have this with DC1 - any tips on shifting it? Thanks

Sorry I missed you saying that. It won't shift until you come out of that trimester.

I had this really badly up to about 14 weeks; you can’t shift it at all (sorry!) but things that helped me a bit were:
Water with slices of lime and lemon
Very sour/fizzy sweets
Strong mints

It did go completely in the second trimester!

I have the same! I’m now 10 weeks and doesn’t seem to be getting any better any time soonSad I’m having lots of lemonade and mints/gum which helps a little.

I still have this and I’m 16 weeks, hoping it goes soon! Sharp tasting things like grapefruit and kiwi have helped me + always adding lemon to water

I had this! I remember eating lots of bananas but not sure if that was related or a separate thing. It did go away after a few weeks or I got used to it and stopped noticing (to be replaced by heartburn oh well). And didn't get it with my second.

I had this in the first trimester along with extreme nausea and so found it very hard to get rid of as most things made me ill. It’s come back in the past few weeks (32 weeks now) but without the nausea for the most part and I am literally chewing gum constantly as it’s the only way to combat it!
