Second trimester stabby cervix pain?

Has anyone else experienced this? It’s a really sharp pain high up, has been going on for a few hours now very intermittently. I have to confess that I’m a massive worrier so it might be nothing, but I’m also worried it could be a sign of preterm labour.

Had it last pregnancy and in this one too. I’m 25 weeks. Very common!

Thanks for the response! Can I ask, did yours go on for a while sometimes? I’ve actually had these sorts of pains when not pregnant but I’m pretty sure they were just one offs.

Yes, I did but just intermittent stabby pains, a work colleague had it so bad she was nearly in tears and had to go sick! Hers were pretty much continuous- very unpleasant!
Could you have braxton hicks? I did and it felt like period pains, over my tum and right down my “bits”! Blush
