Hi I need advise,

I randomly started to bleed yesterday but like clots. Then I started to get cramp like pain radiating to my lower back. I straight away thought miscarriage. As me and my partner have been trying for a while now.

I was at work the next day and then pain was so bad so I made a doctors appointment. I went to the appointment and explained what was going on she asked me to do a urine test but I wasn't able to do one. She then said she's gonna take it as a miscarriage as I have all the symptoms. She told me to take a test later that day so I did and it came back negative. At the appointment she said if the fetus passed my test would show negative as I would only be a week pregnant. But I'm reading stuff online and it says the test should still be positive. I'm so confused as I'm still getting clotting and pain the doctor said if it doesn't get better to go hospital but don't wanna go if I look like a right doughnut

Sorry it does sound like a miscarriage. You have to judge how severe the bleeding is by how quickly you are soaking pads. I can't remember the advice I got I think it was if soaking them in less than 4 hours you need to go to hospital. Phone up the hospital for some advice you might have to go in.
I'm my case the sac was stuck on my cervix and my body was using blood to try and flush it out but the nurse/doctor (whoever she was) had to remove it.
If you aren't soaking the pads it could just be normal tailing off bleeding after the mc.
Hope you are OK Flowers

Thank you for the advise. I'm still get pain in my back and upper belly now still bleeding with clotting. Starting to feel tired and nauseous so might pop up the hospital just for reassurance.
