What prams do people recommend using I have my eye on the I candy peach and the egg anyone had any of these and which one was better ?? X

I have the Cosatto Giggle, but tbh i barely used it because he preferred the sling. It's in storage now waiting for no2 so i hope i get better use out of it this time. My advice would be not spend a fortune on one, you can pick up a relatively good one second hand as you never know how long you will use the pram for. My little one is a confident walker (from 10 months), he's now 17 months and i don't use a pram at all. Personally, i'd invest in a really good rear facing car seat that will last and last and a proper sling (go to a sling library).

Joolz HUB for us! Light and compact, but with all-terrain wheels. Lies flat so appropriate from birth, but can also buy a bassinet if wanted. Parent or world facing, and SO LIGHT to push!

We started with the Cosatto Ooba but it was too big and heavy so I didn't use it much.

I have 3 children and had 3 prawns for different needs. 1st child I had the bugaboo chameleon and hated it. It was bulky and he never seemed comfortable in it, this would of been 10 years ago so I’m assuming they have changed a bit but I got rid of it quickly and used a pushchair
Second was the mamas and papas x something for other- at the time I loved it and it was lightweight and easy but it broke quicker and seemed flimsy compared to others, but it did us well and can’t really complain for the price.
But by far, my favourite is the uppa baby vista I have at the moment. I love it, it suits our need perfectly as it has a huge basket (because 3 children’s stuff is no joke) and I have the adapters and rumble seat for long journeys and the 2 littlest. It is sturdy and well made but light and easy to move. I love it.

My advice would be to make a list of your needs, will you walk a lot or car journeys and need to get it in and out a lot? Where are you likely to go? Are you a country walk kinda family or city trips? Make a list of how you are going to use the pram and find one that suits those needs, rather than go for the brand or how it looks first

Prams obviously not prawns. None of my kids could of fit in shellfish

I have an icandy peach (3rd baby now) and love it. Pricey though! Suggest you go and try a few out in John Lewis ?

It depends do you drive? Will this be used quite a lot? Will it spend more time folded? Etc.
Are u getting on off buses?
How much room do you have to store it in house?

I have a bugaboo buffalo whi h I love. My daughter is 3 soon, and it's still used regularly as we walk and dont drive most of the time.
However I also use a sling for her, as we go off roading quite a bit (live rurally), so for me a quality sling was important..

I've gone with the icandy peach and adore it already :)

As other PP have said, it depends on tour needs and don't be afraid to get more than one!

I have two. The Silver Cross Pioneer was my first one and I still use it so often (DS is 1). I don't drive and live in a small town with lots of walking to do. Without a car, I needed a huge basket for shopping, a sturdy pram that could cope with all sorts of paths and something DS could sleep in all day if he had to. I also used the bassinet on holiday as his bed as it was overnight sleeping approved.

Last week I finally got a TomiKid, it's a pushchair that folds right down like a suitcase. As much as I love the silver cross, on busses it's huge and DS wants to get out so I needed something smaller that's easy to fold down. I find with this combination, I can do anything with ease!

We were between the icandy peach and silvercross pioneer. It came down to my car boot. The silvercross could fit in only taking one wheel off, the icandy you had to take off both (although it then probably gives more usable space around it). Having had a friends icandy in recently I'm glad of the choice.

We love our pioneer - sturdy, big basket, well made. Would def recommend!

I think every pram needs a decent size basket underneath it (oh how the stokke lets us down with that!)
Then think about where you will store it? Does it need to be a compact one or do you have space to store in car or your hallway?
What terrain will you use it on? I live in the city so no need for all terrain wheels.
Is there any scope of needing it to be a double buggy one day?! If so check for how that would be configured (side by side or inline?)
How easily does it fold and carry. So many of the fancy leather handles are forced to scrape on the floor once you fold it so they get ruined.
Easy to steer / lightweight.
Do you want a carrycot they can officially sleep overnight in (if you ever travel to other people's houses)

I second the joolz hub, we are expecting in may and in the show room the joolz range stood out the most for us. We travel quite a distance regularly, the compact and light aspect of this pram was definitely a bonus for us. It’s so smooth and light to push too! The pram has a very good size, easily accessible basket and comes built in the box! Also love how green the company is! All the fabrics are made from recycled plastic from the ocean. Regardless I think everyone needs to go and try the different styles and brands as it’s what fits in your life and needs that matters.

Neither of my kids have entertained the idea of going in the pram - definitely glad I didn't spend much!
