Hi, sorry I am not sure if this is on the right page. Couldn't ttc but thought you may be able to help.

I havent been trying ttc long but it's hard because I have such long cycles. I'm currently on cd 50 and feel like my period is coming and got a positive opk but I didnt get one on my whole month. I'm not sure if I ovulate. I have been to doctors a year ok and they said I dont have pcos but I feel like it's never going to happen. I know if go to the doctors there gonna say theres not much they can do. I feel like giving up because I cant track :(

Op ask for a gyne referral. I have psoc and wasn't ovulating naturally so after a lot of tests and an operation and over 2 years of ttc I was put on chlomid. Thankfully I conceived on my 5th round and though it took over 2.5 years I'm now almost 32 weeks pregnant with our little boy. Don't wait like I did. Good luck x

Hey thanks for your response, big congratulations to you!! That was such a long wait how did you cope? only problem is they'll tell me to keep trying but if I could possibly not be ovulating what would be the point? I really feel like af is about to come and I want her to because being in the not knowing stage is torture.

It was an agonising wait and a lot of negative pregnancy tests but worth it in the end. We were ttc for over a year when I finally faced facts there was an issue and went to the docs. How long have you been trying for?

I have PCOS, long and irregular cycles, and don't ovulate every month, we went to the doctor after 9 months of active trying and ironically conceived that very month. Has your OH been checked out for any issues?

He hasn't but dont think he will either, with my irregular periods I think it's me! Booked a doctors appointment in 3 weeks. I really felt like period was coming yesterday had all the symptoms but nothing yet and feel completely normal today so symptoms so god knows when its gonna show itself :(

I felt your pain OP. I was having long cycles sometimes 70+ days and it's so disheartening when your period actually comes. Have you tried some meditation? I found it helped with my period and TTC anxiety.

Horrible example but we TTC for 6 years, had all the tests everything ok, just both overweight (we did lose weight in the end) and on NYE 2019 got our first BPF but goes to show that miracles do happen even when you least expect it, don't give up!

I didn't use them myself as I was already obsessed with pregnancy tests without ovulation tests too. The month I conceived we dtd every other day for the full month that was no way I could miss my ovulation time but it looks positive x

Thanks guys, only problem is last time I did it was Monday and didnt get chance last night so gonna try tonight, do you think I'm out :(

Hopefully not but every other night is best and this came from every health care professional I saw (a lot)
