Sertraline in late pregnancy?

I'm taking 200mg of sertraline a day and have been for a long time due to depression and anxiety. I'm nearly in my third trimester and have been advised to wean off before baby is born. As anyone else had this experience? I'm really worried about stopping medication during a really stressful time but am also worried about the baby having to withdraw after birth. Any experiences would love to hear!

I didn't wean off of my meds (that would have been disastrous) but I did reduce mine. Consultant was happy for me to stay on 100mg through pregnancy and after birth.

I was told by my Dr I wouldn't be allowed to take sertraline at all throughout the 3rd trimester. I came off it in the 1st trimester

I came off mine as soon as I found out I was pregnant however have been to doctors and now need to go back on. I'm 20 weeks and on 100mg a day. I was told it's better for baby if I'm going to breastfeed that baby is used to it already as they will still get some of it through breast milk. I have been told baby doesn't need to be weaned off it at all.
