Heartburn in pregnant

Any top tips for reducing heartburn in pregnancy? Esp natural remedies. Coming at me full throttle this week so looking to get in under control!

I always had a bottle of Gaviscon by the bedside table. It's totally safe and the best way of combatting it.

I used rennies. Gaviscon made me gag

Gaviscon is the only thing that helps me got other stuff on prescription but didn't do much so back to gluging gaviscon .

I drank lots of milk and ate those mint remegel I think they're called? Like mint starbursts, kinda 😂 but I hated anything else.

I've been suffering and finally got my GP to prescribe me omeprazole last week. It is safe in pregnancy and one tablet a day has got it completely under control. Given I was randomly throwing up stomach acid with no warning when I burped last week (which was not the most fun in the middle of an important meeting ) I'm very grateful
