7 weeks and nothing found at scan

Hello ladies. I've just come back from a 7 week scan and I'm so upset. I was getting the scan to rule out ectopic as I had an ectopic in November 2018. Unfortunately she couldn't see anything other than pockets of water. They have taken blood and I'm to go back in 2 days to see what they think they will do next. I'm terrified it's another ectopic and just so sad as we desperately wanted this baby. Has anyone ever had anything similar?

I'm really sorry this is happening, especially after your previous ectopic. I hope it all turns out OK. I don't have any experience of this but just wanted to send hugs and good wishes. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I'm sure you're feeling very worried, it's a stressful enough time as it is. I hope you manage to find some peace and calm while you're waiting. Hopefully others on here will be able to give you some reassurance too. Do let us know how you get on with the blood tests, keeping my fingers crossed.

So sorry you're going through this, I've had an ectopic pregnancy and tube removed so I understand the fear!

Did she have a look at your tubes or anywhere else? When I was scanned with my ectopic after looking in the womb and confirming there was nothing there, they looked in my tubes and saw a fresh blood supply going to one of my tubes which indicated ectopic.

Thank you all. They didn't seem concerned that it was another ectopic but said they couldn't rule it out yet. My bloods came back at only 980 so it's not looking viable at all. The weirdest thing is I woke up this morning and just didn't feel pregnant anymore, my boobs stopped hurting so much and nausea faded. I told my partner that I had a bad feeling about scan and he thought I was being silly. Just goes to show you know your own body! Anyway I've pulled my big girl pants on now and will just face whatever it is I need to face
