Just wanted to share my experience.
I spotted after sex last night. Just pink when wiping and then brown this morning. Was worried when it happened but as baby was moving around and it seemed to settle, I almost didn’t call the midwife, however, thought I would just to reassure me.
Well, it ended up in me spending most of the day on the ante natal ward. 🙄 As I’m rhesus negative, they wanted me to go in to have an anti D injection. I also had bloods done and a lovely pelvic to take swabs to check for infection.
The reason I wanted to share was because I had googled and so many posts said it’s normal to spot after sex in pregnancy with no mention of the rhesus negative thing. It led me into a false sense of security thinking it was no biggie. It wasn’t in the end but still needed dealing with.
