OK so I am ahead of myself. I am only 12 days post birthnof number 2 but am pretty sure I have only literally lost the baby's weight... I'm sure by now last time I was abit more comfortable wearing big jumpers that were pre pregnancy. I still look 7/8months pregnant!! Albeit I haven't done much moving yet (2nd c section) but am bfeeding.

Any experience please

My experience.. first (and currently only baby) born vaginally. 2 days before birth I weighed 89kg, 15 days postpartum I was 78.6kg.
Baby was just over 3kg. I had a lot of water retention (face, legs, feet etc) so I guess I peed a lot of that out.
At 1 month pp I weighed 76.9. Which is were I've stayed since. Also breastfeeding. Haven't tried terribly hard to lose weight. I have been exercising since 6 weeks pp.
pre pregnancy I was 70-73kg, went to the gym a lot, was very strong.
Lost a lot of muscle mass in pregnancy so I've been working on getting that back, vs losing the weight (though hoping it'll start dropping a bit now).
Baby is now 6 months old.

12 days OP! Give yourself a break!

You've had really invasive surgery and are raising a newborn and from the sounds of it, another child also.

Rest up as much as you feasibly can, and the weight will come off a bit more when you've recovered and start being a bit more active.

It takes a few weeks for the uterus to shrink back down, once that happens the “still pregnant” look improves! I lost quite a bit of weight in the first three months when I was too exhausted to remember to eat and walked miles with baby in the sling trying to get him to nap. Then put it all back on again in the second three months as things got more settled and I ate lots of junk food! Finally lost it all by the time he was nine months old by doing intermittent fasting.

Im 4.5 months post c section. Jogging 3/4 days a week, riding my horse once a week. I still cant get in my size 12s! Although im slowly getting there

It took me nine months last time, which I think is about right as that's how long I took to gain it. I did have to try, I breastfed, did SlimmingWorld and ran a lot.
This time I started making an effort when baby was about six weeks old, so far I've lost 18lb (she's 4.5 months) by dieting (following teamRH), walking and tandem breastfeeding. I've just started running again. I had bad diastis recti and fixing that has made most of the difference to my appearance and helped my clothes fit. I reckon I'm about half way back to my prebaby weight. The last bit is the slowest so probably it'll be the vest part of nine months again.

Give yourself chance to recover OP. I talk from experience. You've had major abdominal surgery and your body needs to recuperate.

After my second c-section my stomach was fucked unfortunately.
