On the 11th of November I had what I believed to be a miscarriage. I bled a lot that day and felt very unwell but didn’t bleed the rest of that week. I had known I was pregnant for a few weeks and had guessed I was around 5-6 weeks at the time. I went in to the hospital later in the week and they did an internal scan which confirmed there was no baby.
Moving on - on New Years Eve I had a feeling I was pregnant, I had thought as much for a few days and confirmed I was with a test. It was a clear blue test that said 3+ weeks. Great!
Anyway, cut to today, I had a dating scan - as my period never returned after the miscarriage I had no idea how far along I was. I guessed around 6 weeks.
Anyway, the sonographer said I was 9 weeks 6 days, which would make conception date the day after the miscarriage. She was absolutely certain on dates. It’s just not possible as I wouldn’t have let my husband anywhere near me 😂 now my mum is suggesting either I didn’t miscarry at all or it was implantation bleeding. I don’t know what to think!
Has anyone had anything this mysterious happen before?!
