Previous c sections, anterior placenta - chance of placental accreta?

Has anyone been in the same boat? Currently 14 weeks with third baby, first two were c sections. At the 12 week scan sonographer said that it looked like anterior placenta is forming. Having a brief read up it looks like it might increase risks of placental accreta? Has anyone been in the same (or similar) situation and can tell me how it went for them? Ive had a google but struggling to find actual potential additional/increased risks of both previous c sections and anterior placenta together. Having visions of ending up having to be constantly monitored or end up in the horror of weeks on the pre-birth wards being checked!

I have had 2 previous sections and currently have an anterior placenta. Never heard of placental accreta. What is it? My mw hasn't been concerned about me, said I could try for vbac if I want.

I made this account so I could reply to you! Yes I had placenta accretta in 2016 what would you like to know ?

Haha thanks for going to the effort for me :) The sonographer basically said there was a risk of the placenta going into the c section scar, depending on how bad the accreta was. Obviously at this stage we dont know whether it is or not but I just wondered how they managed you? Did you have to go in a lot for additional monitoring etc?

Ige had 2 prior sections and am pregnant with my 3rd and have an anterior placenta which was found at 16 weeks when I had an amnio. They checked at the 20 week scan, and after that I was referred to fetal medicine for a scan at 24 weeks. Still low lying but the consultant wasnt worried about it being attached or in the way for when they do a section, but wants to see me again at 28 weeks and so on. I was worried about the same but so far so good. They are very good with the monitoring and checking if its moved etc, if it does attach it's best they know sooner rather than later so they can plan for that in the c section
