I’d ring your local EPU and see if they can get you in for a scan - that’s really the only thing that will be able to tell you what’s going on and put your mind at ease. x

I had this with my daughter at exactly the same time as you. I was terrified, but it turned out just to be her snuggling in.

If it's brown it's most likely old blood being pushed out by baby growing, likely left over from implantation.

Pop a pad on so you can monitor it but if it stays brown and you've no cramps or anything it's most likely everything's fine but I understand completely how worrying it is.

Can you get an early scan booked in to reassure yourself?

I had this from week 4-10 after going to the loo. My midwife said only to worry if it's bright red, fresh blood and you're doubled over in pain. Had my first scan a week ago and baby is healthy.

I had this too in early pregnancy. It was old blood left over from implantation just decided to make its way out when I was 3 months gone!

Thanks for the reassurance.
It’s definitely not bright red and it’s not flowing.
I have my booking in appointment Wednesday so if still the same I will ask for a reassurance scan. It’s so scary.
