Found out I was pregnant last week as I thought I was having a messed up period. This is my first pregnancy and totally unplanned.
The doctor didn't seem too concerned that I was having bleeding as she said it can be my body just trying to bleed and that it's called a threatened miscarriage.
I've got a scan on monday but feeling slightly nervous so looking for some advice from anybody who's had anything similar.
The bleeding has been pretty much everyday for 3 weeks but never heavy, more like the end of a period but with the need of a pad or just very light pink on the tissue. Haven't had any serious cramping just very mild period like pains - not as bad as period pain I would say.
I've found that the bleeding is more in the morning tailing off throughout the day, and if I drink more the bleeding almost disappears (not sure if that has anything to do with it) but returns the next day.
I've just finished antibiotics for a urine infection and having blood tests to check for anemia and thyroid.
Any positive comments anyone, I'm panicking what the scan is going to show even though it was totally unplanned I don't want it to be bad news.
