Hi all,
I had fertility treatment to conceive and yesterday I had an early pregnancy scan (at 7 weeks). It revealed that I am expecting twins. Unfortunately one of the embryos is much smaller than the other and its heartbeat was a lot slower. The doctor told us that there is a 50% chance of the second embryo surviving. I was wondering if other ladies have had a similar experience.
My partner and I are happy with the news but also quite nervous about what the future holds. We would love to have both babies but we need to wait and see.
