so i was doing some hoovering and my dog not knowing has chewed the hoover wire, as i picked it up to move it it electrocuted me, it wasn't bad but it did sting and i almost felt it in my heart/chest. there's no wound or burn. Baby is moving still and i've checked heart beat. should i still ring in to be monitored or checked?? any one else had a similar experience. TIA Smile

I had a very similar electric shock from my hair straighteners when I was around 20 weeks with ds2. I freaked myself out googling it, and I wasnt feeling movements yet at that point so I went in to be checked. They listened for his heartbeat and then sent me home. He was fine.

Maybe ring the hospital and see what they say?

Ring them if you'll worry about it. I got a shock when I was a similar amount of weeks but left it after lots of googling and baby moving fine. Baby born healthy.

Ring them please. The heart monitors at home are unreliable.

How horrible and scary! I would ask to be checked just for peace of mind if anything.
