Thank you @ChampooPapi for updating the list! Can't remember if I've asked this before but has your EDD change since you've found out it's twins?

Just had to go to the community midwives centre to give a urine sample and they took my bloods. I also asked them if they could check my thyroid as well as I've always wondered about that and whether it contributed to my mmc. I got my blue notes as well which has made it all feel more real!! 😱 Xxx

Hope everyone is ok, had a bit of time out for a few days.
Had my 12 week scan today and all seems fine, have been swopped to consultant led care and edd brought forward a few days which is good! Feel relieved and a bit more like it is real now, there was a lot of movement which I hadn't really expected! Hoping the weeks start going a bit faster now

I do feel a bit excited! It was so lovely to see something baby like on the screen and moving so much! Its 2nd Dec so I have managed to gain a couple of days 💞 12 weeks 6 days

This is amazing news @Whiffle!!! So happy for you. Must just be such a relief and you can start to enjoy your pregnancy now you're almost in the second trimester! Did you get a good pic?

Buying a multipack of pickled onion monster munch was a bad idea... I just ate two packs in a row ...

Thanks @milscookie I'm not a crier but I did shed a tear! I got four free pics, they are all pretty blurry as baby was wriggling around so much! I think we will have another private one at some point so my husband can come as it was so different from my early scans

Haha I cant keep too many crisps in the house as I eat them!! As of tomorrow I am going to try and eat a bit better. Are you feeling less anxious today? I find it a rollercoaster of up and down, I doubt we will feel totally fine until baby (or babies in your case!) Are here! Make sure you keep yourself distracted this evening!

@whiffle77 Oh WOW!!! Look at your little one! That's an amazing pic - even though it's a bit blurry you can still see his/her tiny little features!!! I'm not surprised you shed a tear. Do you want to find out what you're having? I think I can make a guess from looking at this scan but I won't say unless you want me to haha! And also my guesses are just that - guesses haha and they're not always right! (usually wrong !)

I still totally meh today... just really convinced that I'm gonna get bad news tomorrow. I even just took a cheapy pregnancy test half expecting it to be negative.... obviously it wasn't and the test line came up way before the control line but to me that doesn't = healthy baby. I'm going to be so anxious tomorrow morning. Just hoping it comes round quickly! xx

@MilsCookie sorry I've only just got round to answering your question about due dates changing after scans. The answer is a resounding yes! Every scan has changed my dates, mine keep getting pulled closer first time my due date was moved half a week sooner, then the next a few days sooner, and my 12 week scan put me another 2 days closer. It's also about their rate of growth I guess, though one of my twins is always two days behind.

I'm really sorry you are in this purgatory hell. It's only going to go away after tomorrow so munch on woman, have a bath, then sleep early tonight. This time tomorrow you'll know everything. We are here always 🥰

I know @MilsCookie it sounds silly as I have seen so many other 12 week scans before but I was still really surprised at how baby like it looked 😂 I think we are going to have a surprise but I'm quite an OTT planner so I dont know if I will stuck to it!! Very happy to hear guesses tho, so crack on! I understand how you feel as that's exactly how I did all weekend! I think I will every scan, no matter what the week. But the reward when you get in there is worth all the anxiety, it was really lovely. I'm sure everything is fine, the odds are heavily in our favour though it's hard to remember that! Tomorrow will be here before you know it, I will be checking in to see tomorrow!

I only had my due date changed once and that was at 7 weeks and since then it's remained the same.

Aw great news @whiffle77, lovely scan picture!

I've had a phone call from the hospital today that the consultant wants to see me on Friday! Haven't seen him before, when I spoke to someone over the phone from that department they were happy that I could me monitored through normal midwife bloods at 28 weeks. So I wonder what has now changed!!

Thank you @ChampooPapi @Whiffle77 @BecsterG and @Sparkl. It honestly means so much to know you're thinking of me. I feel SO sick right with nerves it's horrible. I hate the waiting around all morning, just want to get there and know now. It's a 40 min drive from me and we're leaving in about 15 mins. Hope I don't vom in the car!! 🤢
I just have such a bad feeling and just feel like I genuinely won't be surprised if I get bad news. It's at 12:30 so will update later today. Xxx

@MilsCookie aww you poor thing. I felt like that at my dating scan. I've never felt so anxious at a scan before. Just breath deeply. Put some good tunes on and try and talk about other things to get you through the drive. Good luck x

Two healthy beans seen with strong heartbeats 😭 Can't even describe the relief. Twin 1 measuring 15.9mm and twin 2 measuring 15.3mm - both bang on 8 weeks + 0 which is what I thought! New EDD is 6/1/21.

PHEW!!!!

@MilsCookie yeay brilliant news! What a relief for you. Hopefully you can relax a bit now until your dating scan. Perfect wee twins. Do you have a date for that?

Thank you so much @AlviesMam @TerribleImagination @Whiffle77 and @BecsterG!!! I was in shock all over again because I was just totally expecting them to say there weren't any heartbeats. The fact they're both roughly the same size is just absolutely amazing . They currently still in the same sac so still the rare MCMA type of twins which is worrying, but the sonographer said just because things can be complicated, doesn't mean they will be. He told me to stay away from google and just try to relax and enjoy it. So I will definitely try to stop worrying although it isn't easy!!

Yes @BecsterG my next scan is on Friday 19th June - I'll only be 11+2 then but at least it means it's only 3 weeks until my next scan!

P.s. Would definitely recommend Window to the Womb for private scans - they were so lovely and friendly. My appointment was bang on time, didn't feel rushed at all in the scanning room and the sonographer took his time answering my questions and explaining things. I've also got a little video of them
