Catching up with TTC after MC thread January 2020

Hi Ladies, hoping you all can join soon. The TTC (trying to conceive) after MC (miscarriage) January group have been so supportive I hope we can keep it up for those who have BFP (big fat positive).

I'm happy to compile the list once everyone's posted 😊

Haha @ChampooPapi I’m here giggling at your corrections 😂 I know what you mean though, we have to laugh!

I’m sure I’ll regret saying this, but I’m willing the nausea to get worse so I feel properly pregnant 🤣 I’m a wuss when I feel like a might be sick though, so I’ll probably be taking that back in a couple of weeks haha.

Also I second @MilsCookie’s comment about you always having amazing advice ❤️ I kept your encouraging words in my head this cycle we were successful. I kept reminding myself of you saying April will be someone’s month and May someone’s else... it really helped me! You’re just an absolute love! I love this whole thread. What a lovely place for us all to be able to come and chat about whatever ❤️

Excellent idea RE the list! I have no actual idea what my due date is though... so I’ll go with the estimated!

5 weeks, due around 7/01/21

I'm feeling an awful lot more human this week @ChampooPapi thank you, still tired but nowhere near as tired as before, and so much less nauseous! So I am very thankful for that! Days seem to be dragging but the weeks are flying by! Are you feeling better?

I'm 10 weeks today, due 04/12/20

@ChampooPapi hahahaha don't worry at all I was laughing out loud at your comments! I didn't even read it as "expect the worst" in terms of the baby until you'd corrected it haha! 🙈 I'd better get stocking up on plain foods then I guess! Last time all I wanted to eat was cheese sandwiches and salt and vinegar crisps, but I was travelling and couldn't find any of those things ANYWHERE. I survived off eating the tiniest mouthfuls of curry (I was in India for weeks 4-8) but struggled so much not to be sick! 🤢 Ahhhh one of each would be so lovely. Definitely a possibility with them not being from the same egg!! Love the idea of the list, I'll put mine at the end of this. 😘

@BS9790 sorry you're feeling anxious lovely. I think the fact we know what it's like to have a loss will always be at the back of our minds, even when we get past the danger zone. Try to focus on the knowledge you had a healthy 12 week scan and the chances of things going wrong after that are so so slim. I can imagine it must be hard though when you're in between first trimester symptoms and early 2nd trimester without much of a bump! Your bump will start growing soon I'm sure 😍

@Whiffle77 sending positive vibes your way hun. Not long to go now till your scan! You had an early one didn't you? (Or have I made that up? 🤣) xx

Sorry you are feeling anxious @BS9790 I guess it feels a long way till the next scan too, but it will start going quicker and quicker for you I think. Especially if lockdown eventually eases a bit. I'm sure it won't be long until you feel like you have much more of a bump!
Thanks @milscookie yes I had one at just after 8 weeks, which helped a lot as i wasn't letting myself think i was pregnant before! Still feel a bit detached but nowhere near as i did! Will you have an early one do you think?

@Whiffle77 I totally get that. I'm trying not to let myself get too attached either until I know things are okay. Yes once I get to 6 weeks (next weds) I'm going to treat myself to booking a private scan for 8 weeks - that way my partner can come as well.

Weird - I just woke up from a nap and had a missed call. Checked the number and it was the midwives. Called them back and they said they were calling to do my booking in appointment but actually couldn't do it anymore cos it was the end of the day so they'll call back next week. Seems a bit early no? I registered with them last week and they told me someone would call me before 10 weeks to do the booking in over the phone as they can't do them in person at the mo. So I assumed that would be closer to 10 weeks, not now?! Oh well!

@MilsCookie I had my booking appointment at around 7 weeks! Their choice not mine, I also thought it seemed early.

Like the list idea I've seen them on other threads, we then copy and paste it and update weekly don't we?

Hi ladies, I’m excited and very very nervous to be joining from the ttc after mc threads. I was on from the January one and got my bfp two weeks ago. I’m 6 weeks today. Trying not to get too attached, like the other new recruits!

I’ve actually had some spotting today and am feeling very anxious but been on to my epu and have a scan booked in for Tuesday when I’ll be 6+4. So just have to survive until then!

It’s giving me so much hope and positivity to come on here and see people doing so well and reaching milestones and amazing scan photos from @BecsterG and @ChampooPapi!

Morning ladies, how are we all doing today?

Welcome @Sparkl so happy you're here! The spotting must be anxiety inducing but it is really common in early pregnancy and doesn't necessarily mean anything bad is happening. Hopefully your scan will give you some reassurance! How has it been the last couple of days?

I still keep getting a twinge on my left side with every step I take when going up or down stairs. I don't notice it when I'm just walking flat. Sometimes it can be quite sharp and painful so I am going to call my EPAU tomorrow and ask what they think. It was there straight after my mmc surgery and then went away...but now it's back! I wondered if it was a trapped nerve or something. I just don't want it to be anything that could be potentially dangerous to me or my seed!! 😣

I'm 6 weeks today by LMP!! Feels like a milestone in itself! Although will only truly count myself as 6 weeks from weds 🙏🤞🏻🌈 xxx

@BecsterG it is on 19th May. It feels like forever away!

@Zoey36 I bet. It always feels like a life time away and the last week dragged for me. Keep busy and I hope it goes faster for you x

Sorry ladies, had one of those exquisite 48 hours headache's that pregnancy brings 😣 few throwing up bouts the last few days too so I've been a complete non person. Sooo much diying in bed and on the sofa has been completed, I'm finally coming round to do everyone's lovely due dates. I'm reading through and compiling now so will post in a few mins.

And goes without saying 💜 and woman power to everyone 🥰

And a huge cuddle to @TerribleImagination and @MilsCookie, you guys say such wonderful things I feel like I must have done something right in a past life, you made my day, my week, probably my month! logging on and seeing your messages made me feel like a living breathing person for a while in the midst of the dark times of migraine city. Where every turn takes you to another dark vom inducing place.

And there I was thinking my symptoms had gone 🙄

I'll try and update every Sunday/Monday 👍
