Hi Ladies, hoping you all can join soon. The TTC (trying to conceive) after MC (miscarriage) January group have been so supportive I hope we can keep it up for those who have BFP (big fat positive).

Yeah maybe @FireflyGirl. It's so frustrating wish it would go away!

Morning ladies, anyone else got sore boobs? My have been sore since the beginning, it was actually the sign that made me think I was pregnant but today, wow they are so sore! Hurts to turn over in bed at night!!

I've had some form of bra on constantly since my bfp, Becster. I sleep in a sports bra, because otherwise it's unbearable, and even with support it's painful even if DS brushes against them. I had the same last time, all the way through.

BecsterG · 10/04/2020 11:25

@FireflyGirl wow I've never experienced sore boobs before his pregnancy. I've got a normal bra on today and that's actually helping so now but yes when my son climbs on me etc (as they do) wow very painful!

My boobs are sore and HUGE too. It took awhile for them to start hurting this time, whereas last time it started almost immediately post ovulation so I was worried...def making up for it now tho! 🙈 bit worried what they will go like if this is a sticky bean as I was already a G 😬

BecsterG · 10/04/2020 19:09

I just took off my bra....wow I needed that! Ha ha it's unreal. Can't get over it.

Today has been a long day. I never knew how much toddlers talk until this lockdown when heard with you 24/7! Wow it's constant isn't it! 😂. My son is in bed now and my husband and I are enjoying the peace. Ha ha

Hi Ladies, how are you all?

Any let up in the sickness?

BS9790 · 13/04/2020 18:24

Hi @BecsterG, I'm 11+2 now, and had a few days full of energy and feeling great. But the past 2 days I've been exhausted, feeling sick and just can't be bothered with anything. I don't think the lockdown is helping with that though!

It's my dating scan on Thursday, counting down the hours now.

How are you? X

BecsterG · 13/04/2020 19:12

@BS9790 oh exciting the on Thursday. Only three more sleeps my son would say! Smile

I'm a bit like that with tiredness. I seem to have days where I'm fine in the day and come 19:00 I reckon I could climb into bed and then other days where I feel like that at lunch time. You're right though lockdown doesn't help as you're not doing as much.

I think the tiredness is just how it's going to be for me with a 3 year old around particularly in lockdown when he's at home 24/7.

Hey guys, I've started to feel nauseous as of yesterday. Didnt at all last time so this is a new one for me! I'm also shattered, but then couldn't sleep last night as my anxiety was so bad. I think it's because it was around this point last time things started to go wrong.
That's exciting that it's your scan soon - did you have any early scans? I have booked a private one for just past 8 weeks, so that's one of my milestones I'm looking forward to. I'm hoping once I pass 8 weeks I feel a lot less anxious
I think lockdown is making tiredness worse too - my friends are saying similar, and they aren't pregnant! It's a very strange situation.

BecsterG · 14/04/2020 12:23

I agree @Whiffle77 the lockdown does make the tiredness so much worse. How many weeks are you now?

OP posts:
Whiffle77 · 14/04/2020 13:45

I'm 6+4 @BecsterG - counting each day and looking forward to getting past 8 weeks!

FireflyGirl · 14/04/2020 14:10

Everyone does seem to be more tired in lockdown! It's strange. DS goes more or less straight to sleep rather than singing to himself for half an hour.

I've had quite bad cramping since Saturday, no bleeding but I am paranoid that will start soon. I can't get a private scan until 26th, and I have my 12 week scan on 30th so no point. Just got to wait and hope it settles...

Zoey36 · 14/04/2020 14:26

I'm sickness and nausea-free now! Wahoo! I'm 15 weeks and I think I can feel movement but I also might be going Lockdown crazy. I know they say you can feel it earlier with subsequent pregnancies but it still feels a bit odd...I might be imagining it! I was 16 almost 17 weeks last time though so not too much earlier I guess! I'm potty training....no sorry....TRYING to potty train my DD but I have zero energy to put into it! I would love not to have 2 in nappies! Hope everyone is well x

BS9790 · 14/04/2020 14:35

@FireflyGirl I've had cramping quite bad since the beginning, on and off. I don't have any for a few days and then it starts up again. I had then particularly bad around 9 weeks ish. Everything has been fine on my scans so far, so try not to worry about the cramps - easier said than done I know.

I've started to get some pain around my pelvic bone/groin, which mostly happens when I'm walking the dog. Not sure if it's just normal stretching type pains or something to keep an eye on! X

BS9790 · 14/04/2020 14:38

I'm with you all on the zero energy, 2.30pm and I'm still in my pj's watching the millionth episode of come dine with me Blush
Im usually on my feet and really busy for 10/11 hours a day at work, then working another 2/3 hours when I get home. I'm surprised my body hasn't gone into shock with all this doing nothing!

BecsterG · 14/04/2020 21:52

@Zoey36 I'm the same with the movement. I'm 16+4 and I think I might have felt something but it wasn't flutters just a strange feeling. Can't remember what I felt with DS but it wasn't until about 20-21 weeks. I'm desperate for it to start though as starting to get anxious about it all again. I was the same with my DS but still. Roll on 3 weeks for my 20 week scan.

@FireflyGirl oh no sorry to hear about the cranky but good there's been no blood. Could be just stretching? Have you called early pregnancy to see what they say? Rubbish you can't get a scan until a few says before you NHS scan!

BecsterG · 14/04/2020 21:54

@Zoey36 good luck with the potty training. We did it in the summer. It's a great time to do it whilst in lock down. How old is your DD?

@BS9790 sounds like round ligament pain so try not to over do it on your walks to help it?

OP posts:
Zoey36 · 14/04/2020 23:08

@BS9790 I had that with my first pregnancy and got worried I'd develop SPD - I'm hypermobile and midwife had said to expect it! But it went by 16ish weeks so it must have been all that growing and stretching! Hopefully the same for you!

@BecsterG she is 19 months. We're kind of not potty training but just not using nappies and seeing what happens! We used reusable nappies and wiping a bit of wee off the floor is far easier than scraping poopy nappies haha! She always poops in the potty so life is easier this way! I'm really hoping she is reliably dry by the time this one comes though! I couldn't let this lockdown opportunity pass me by!

The movement I'm feeling is like the movements you get near the end of pregnancy like the big pushing against you ones not flutters...that's what makes me think I'm imagining it but I'm pretty sure I'm not now!

BecsterG · 15/04/2020 07:11

@Zoey36 I feel like a pulling feeling, like the cord is being pulled or something. Weird!

If she's doing her poops in the potty then she's will be dry during the day by the time the baby comes as that's normally comes after peeing. Sounds like she is doing great and what a great time to do it. We started on holiday last year as it was hot and he just ran around with no clothes on. Ha ha

My dating scan this morning, so nervous. Wish my DH could come in, he's going to drive me there and wait in the carpark. X

Whiffle77 · 16/04/2020 08:14

Good luck @bs9790 hope it all goes ok!

Shefflin124 · 16/04/2020 09:02

Hi ladies,

I hope you don’t mind if I join this thread. I’m so happy to have found it it’s very reassuring. I had a MMC in December, it was really devastating. But got my BFP in March and am today 9 weeks pregnant. I had an early reassurance scan at 7 weeks and everything looked fine. I’m due back next week where il be 10 weeks and just getting so overwhelmingly nervous. My main worry is that I haven’t had any strong pregnancy symptoms Sad. I have mild nausea and food aversions but not everyday, a lot of burping (sorry tmi), peeing a lot, boobs are bigger and I can see the blue veins but they haven’t really been tender, a bit of constipation (sorry again TMI). I’m just worried that’s not a good sign.

Any advice/reassurance would be great

Hope you’re all well.

Whiffle77 · 16/04/2020 09:50

Hi @shefflin124 and welcome!
That sounds like quite a lot of symptoms to me?! Everyone experiences it differently, and it's different for each pregnancy...symptoms also come and go over the days too so try not to focus on that. You have had one healthy scan so try and focus on that!

BecsterG · 16/04/2020 09:59

Good luck @BS9790 , let us know how it goes.

Welcome @Shefflin124 it's such an anxious time and I like you had two early scans and was so nervous before both of them and before my dating scan. I agree with @Whiffle77 symptoms are different with each pregnancy. This pregnancy is very different to when I had my son 3 years ago. My symptoms this time stopped over night at 9 weeks and it made me nervous but all was good. I was sick up to 16 weeks with my son so very different.

I'm now 16+5 and starting to get anxious again in the build up to my 20 weeks scan which is in 3 weeks. It's only natural to feel nervous but try and remain positive until you have a reason to worry. I hope this next week doesn't drag too much for you.
