Lovely news @BS9790! X

FireflyGirl · 10/03/2020 13:47

Oh, I'm so pleased to hear that @BS9790.

@BecsterG I get twinges in my uterus when I cough, sneeze or turn over. So I coughed in bed at 3.30 this morning, woke myself and DH up, and couldn't get back to sleep. So, today I am pregnant and grumpy HmmGrin

And have to eat oat cakes before I can get up in the morning, otherwise I'm too nauseated.

It feels like I've been pregnant forever already, and I'm not even 6 weeks yet...

BecsterG · 10/03/2020 13:50

@FireflyGirl totally understand, feel like I've been in the first trimester for a life time!

I feel better but so tired x

OP posts:
BS9790 · 10/03/2020 17:51

I feel 'normal' today, no cramps, no sicky feeling, no constant peeing and boobs much less sore.
Desperately hoping I wake up tomorrow feeling crap again, feeling really anxious that everything's disappeared!

AlviesMam · 10/03/2020 20:57

@BS9790 I got like that last time and it happens and I'm the same now...I don't have strong symptoms at all, no sickness not even nausea but I have tiredness and stretching twinges that come and go. The thing that kept me going which sorry if it's TMI was my white CM I have this everyday which indicates that progesterone is high which keeps the pregnancy going, that's how I think of it and that's what keep me positive. Everything will be ok symptoms don't mean anything xxxx

AlviesMam · 10/03/2020 21:04

Anyone with no symptoms or symptoms that come and go like me! Read! It doesn't mean nothing is happening. Push them worries to the back of your mind and jump on the positive train. We've got this! Xxx

Got to love the CM @AlviesMam. I have loads of it and definitely a good sign.

OP posts:
AlviesMam · 11/03/2020 09:16

@BecsterG it is! When I have a loss of symptoms but still have CM I'm like right it's ok!! Haha xx I'm 7 weeks today ladies xxx

BecsterG · 11/03/2020 09:19

Happy 7 weeks!

I hadn't really thought about it but you're right. I had lots of the CM with my DS and I do this time so hopefully baby is cooking nicely.

OP posts:
FireflyGirl · 11/03/2020 09:42

I don't really have cm at all, so no reassurance there Sad I'll just have to wait for my scan next Saturday.

Happy 7 weeks, @AlviesMam 🎂

BecsterG · 11/03/2020 10:36

@FireflyGirl I didn't start with it until about 7 weeks and then I ramped up. I don't think everyone gets a lot of it. It will be different for everyone.

Roll on your scan. Waiting for them is so hard isn't it?!

OP posts:
AlviesMam · 11/03/2020 12:15

Everyone's different! I just know personally that CM is a good sign for me.

Why is the first trimester the longest wait ever?!?!

5 weeks to go, waiting to here back from the Midwife's for my booking appointment.

I'll be going to the same midwife office and I have severe anxiety stepping through them doors again, can you request the midwife to come to your home? I'm assuming they won't be able to carry out blood tests from home will they?

BecsterG · 11/03/2020 12:45

I'm really not sure although they might be able to help you with the anxiety? Worth asking.

It is the longest wait! I have 12 days to wait for my dating scan. I'm so nervous I want it to hurry up.

raspberrypickle · 11/03/2020 13:57

@AlviesMam I'm not sure about home visits, but I put on my self referral form that I was feeling anxious because of what happened before and the midwife was very kind and understanding at my booking in appointment. She also advised me to look on the miscarriage association website to see if there are any support groups meeting locally. I found one near me so I'm going to try and go next week.. might be worth trying? X

Moominmiss · 11/03/2020 16:37

I’m out girls.

After being really worried that my clear blue digi wasn’t moving on from 1-2 weeks and I should have been 4+5 today, I did another today and got a not pregnant.

So I’m waiting for af to arrive/pass whatever was there and back ttc.

I’m beyond devastated and really thinking my body just can’t do this now I’m 37.

Good luck with your pregnancies. I hope to see you over on the pregnancy boards in the future x

BecsterG · 11/03/2020 19:14

@Moominmiss I'm so sorry to hear this. It's heartbreaking!

Hopefully see you back on the pregnancy board soon.

Xx

@Moominmiss so sorry to hear this, I hope things work out for you x

BS9790 · 13/03/2020 07:17

I'm back for another scan on Sunday.
Stupidly jumped down some small steps at work, cracked my head on the ceiling and went flying down steps. Ligament damage to foot and knee, and a sore lumpy head. But terrified I've caused some damage to pregnancy, I've fallen with huge force from a height, and landed on my front. Can't have a scan til Sunday so it's just a waiting game!

FireflyGirl · 13/03/2020 12:02

Yikes, @BS9790! Sounds nasty.

Fingers crossed for you on Sunday. Your little bean is well and truly tucked in safe, so all should be fine 🤞

BecsterG · 13/03/2020 12:19

Ouch sounds nasty @BS9790 . Fingers crossed but hopefully all will be well as they're so small at this stage.

How is everyone?

OP posts:
FireflyGirl · 13/03/2020 13:46

I'm struggling with sleeping, and get a bit nauseous/light-headed when I need to eat, but other than that I'm pretty much plodding on. Not much to see, really.

Oh, and maniacally knicker-checking, obviously Grin

Work have asked us to wfh 2 days a week starting next week, so that will make mornings a bit easier - knocks my 45 minute commute on the head for a start!

BecsterG · 13/03/2020 14:05

@FireflyGirl not having to commute two days will be great. Working from home during this pregnancy so far has been a life saver. I've napped most lunch times. Grin

I'm not sleeping well at night which is knocking me a bit and my sickness has returned a bit this week although I think it's maybe down to tiredness.

OP posts:
FireflyGirl · 13/03/2020 15:44

Tiredness definitely makes it worse, but it's not like you aren't trying to sleep! Your body becomes rather uncooperative Grin

AlviesMam · 13/03/2020 16:44

@BS9790 when I was pregnant last time I fell down hard on some concrete steps while abroad had to wait a whole week until I was back in the UK for my first 8 week scan and baby was ok in scan. Don't worry they are tucked in safe!

I've now got sore boobs and mildly feeling sick more so on an evening! Lots of CM when knicker checking haha! midwife still not been intouch after I filled out form online. Strange that it's been a week thought I'd be booked in now especially with my history!

Hope everyone is well. Nearly a new week, which is a week closer to our first scans! Xxxx

BecsterG · 13/03/2020 16:48

@AlviesMam I'm in Scotland so not really sure how it works down there. We don't get booked in until about 8 weeks here.

@FireflyGirl you're right I am trying. I've been for a nap this afternoon. Managed 20 minutes before my toddler found me. Ha ha
