Might be a stupid question but has had me worried. I've just found out im pregnant about 5 weeks and I had a filling and anesthetic at the dentist just before finding out and have been told and read that this can cause miscarriage in the first trimester. Should I be worried or am I overthinking.

Aslong as your not experiencing any bleeding or pains to the point you cry pain I wouldn't worry yourself ☺️ Iv had two previous MC and I was drinking before I found out it's all the same x

Thank you for replying I'm probably just worrying too much I didn't even think it was a problem until someone mentioned it and then I made the mistake of googling which was a big mistake.

I had to have loads of local anaesthetics as needed root treatment.
They use local anaesthetic for cvs during pregnancy when they stick needle into belly, so it is deemed safe in pregnancy.
