I am 39+3 and really want the baby out. My midwife has suggested sex to help encourage labour. Has this worked for anyone else as I'm really not feeling up to it, but at this stage I will try anything if I know it will work.

I'm 39. 1 and so tired I cba with sex to be honest and dh has been shattered too, but I've kinda been very convincing to dh do it in hope it Will help things along.. No luck.

I tried everything. Hot curries, sex, clary sage oil in the burner which made my cat very relaxed but certainly didn't trigger labour. Don't think there's much you can do if baby isn't ready.

But I do sympathise, it's horrible that last bit. Hope you don't have to wait too much longer.
