Feeling blue - is birth imminent?

Did anyone else feel blue and emotional as they reached their due date? I realise my hormones must be going a bit crazy but I didn't expect to feel a bit depressed and ambivalent.

hi there, in all honesty i can't remember but i'm not suprised that you do feel like this. Sometimes when you have been looking forward to something for so long as its near its realisation it can be a bit of an anti climax. You have been through alot both physically and emotionally in the last few months so go easy on yourself and try to enjoy these last few days/weeks.

Ambivalence comes right before labour if I recall correctly. Be easy on yourself. Your body is in hormonal overload. Have a nice bath and go to bed with a book. xxxXXXxxx
