When to stop aspirin in Early pregnancy?

Hello - I am currently 8+3 (hopefully) and have been taking 75mg of aspirin due to previous MMC. My IVF clinic have discharged me and told me to pick up when to stop taking it with the MW, which I did, but she didn't know. All she said was that it's usually used later in pregnancy so wasn't sure.

Has anyone else taken it in the early stages and stopped, if so when? It's worrying me a bit, as by the time I get a referral it might be too late. x

I took aspirin from the beginning until I delivered for different reasons, I don’t think it would do any harm because it’s such a low dose that lots of women take. Maybe check with a different midwife?

I took aspirin until around 34 weeks. My consultant told me it causes no harm and just had to ensure it was out of my system prior to delivery!

I've been taking it since 9 weeks I think and am due to finish next week at 37 weeks. The dose is 150mg though.

I’ve been on Aspirin for my raised blood pressure from about 10/12 weeks. I’m now 35+5 and still take it. Neither my midwife or OBGYN has advised me to stop yet.

Been taking 75mg aspirin since 8 weeks when pregnancy confirmed viable. Ob/gyn told me to continue until 32-32 weeks (can't remember exactly, will have to ask again closer to the time). Now 16w

I am very much not a doctor, but my experience: I decided to take 75mg aspirin when I got pregnant because I’d had two miscarriages in the past and my GP had said while it wasn’t necessarily going to help, it wouldn’t do any harm. After my 12 week scan was fine my midwife said I should stop taking the aspirin as there was no need at that point. At about 22 weeks I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism, and in the hospital they told me I should never have stopped taking the aspirin. Next pregnancy I’m taking it all the way through.
