Bleeding after various things. Anyone else?

During this pregnancy I seem to be bleeding after different things.

I bled very slightly after sex the other day. Just pink discharge on the paper really and then today after a bowel movement (I'm constipated 😞). Again, very light and stopped pretty much straight away.

Has anyone else found or had this?

I had the occasional bleeding after sex with both my pregnancies. I talked to the midwife about it and she said it was from the cervix cells, which can become more sensitive during pregnancy. You should talk to your midwife. Keep close track of when it happens, for how long, type of discharge etc, as this should help them work out whether there is a problem or not.

How many weeks are you? I had a few bleeds abs found out at my 20 week scan it's because my placenta was covering the cervix. Very common and all clear by 32 weeks.

I am only about 6 weeks so not very far.

It just starts as a little bit of pink and then trails off within the hour.

When it happened again today after using the toilet, I thought it may actually have been more brown than pink but wasn't sure, so maybe left over old blood from the sex that has shifted?

I've had miscarriages before though and the bleeding starts pink but it never stops, just gets gradually heavier so I don't actually think it's that.

I am almost 23 weeks and have had exactly what you describe right from the beginning. I have a cervical ectropian which means some cells on the cervix are sensitive. It’s not really a problem just annoying. Obv get yourself checked and don’t just assume you have the same, but it sounds very much like it, so maybe that’s all it is and thankfully it doesn’t cause harm to me or the baby. It’s just a nuisance! Good luck Smile
