Feel extremely ill after shower

Helloooo I’m just wondering if this has happened to anyone else as it has really freaked me out.

I’m 10 weeks today, I had a quick shower earlier and when I got out I suddenly went so dizzy and nauseous and had to crouch on the bathroom floor otherwise I felt like I would collapse.

I didn’t think the shower was too hot just warm but maybe it was still too much for me? I did feel ill before I went in as I’ve had bad pregnancy sickness and nausea for weeks.

I had to have my boyfriend help me crawl in to bed and I’m still a bit shaky and still feel really really sick and like I’ve got no energy. My stomach is also going mad and churning since getting out.

Is this normal? I think I’ll be having lukewarm showers from now to be safe 🤦🏼‍♀️

Your blood pressure will have probably dropped. Has it been low? My blood pressure was around 90/60 in the first trimester and one night shift dropped even lower. Make sure you are drinking plenty (as in as much as you can) and if you feel dizzy just sit down. I fainted on a doctors round at work at 8 weeks pregnant, was mortified!

All I can think is a sudden drop in blood pressure due to standing under warm/hot water. Have you had something to eat and drink? Rest up and mention what’s happened to your GP or midwife.

Yep this happened to me and was blood pressure. I'd call the MW for a chat.

Yep echo this, low blood pressure is another little pregnancy treat for you!
