Dreaming

Is any one else having loads of dreams? I think I have dreamt every time I've slept since becoming pregnant. Some dreams are wacky and strange and some are bad. Last night I dreamt I had started bleeding and I was desperate to get to a hospital. I found my doctor (dream doctor not real) and he was useless. I kept saying I want a scan I need to go to hospital but he took me to a Chinese restaurant and said he'd do an examination in the disabled toilets. And there was a queue to get in. Then when he did the examination he confirmed I was bleeding and may or may not have lost the baby. So laid back about it and I was going out my mind saying this isn't right I need to go to hospital.
I think has more dreams last night as well.

Last night I had a dream that I travelled back in time and took Henry VIII to trial for bullying.

My dreams have been ridiculous!

When I was pregnant I dreamed I gave birth to a litter of puppies, pale Labradors, like on the old Andrex adverts.

I told a girl at work about the dream which I thought was funny and she freaked! "Eeew, no, yeuch, that's horrible! etc". She was nearly sick. I still thought it was amusing.

My husband had dark hair - brownish black - and I imagined having a baby with a bit of dark hair like him. One night I dreamed of a little cherub of a baby with not much hair but fair. That's how he turned out!
He was nothing like a Labrador. No complaints though.

I had a dream last night my grandma owned a white tesla (car brand) and i was driving it with my partner when i realized it had no brakes. We drove into a big muddy swamp but as we went in, it turned to just water and mine and my partners gym friends were in the water. They all picked up the car and put it back on the road, we then went and got some brakes fitted! Grin
So strange but funny to laugh at when i woke up!

Oh goodness I remember another one which was horrific. I was on a roof on which there was a telephone box; I entered the telephone box and proceeded to have sex with someone I worked for! I can cross my heart and say I never, ever fancied him in real life but after that dream, I did giggle a bit when I saw him. No, nothing like Superman, far from.

I’m so pleased I’m not the only one! I’ve been having very vivid, weird, strange dreams! Pretty much most nights too!
I’m also finding I’m having quite a lot of sex dreams! None of them with DH 🙈

Constantlurker · 15/01/2020 21:26

Yes! Mine have been awful nightmares, really horrible things about people I love dying. My husband says I scream out most nights now.

I wonder what tonight has in store!

When pregnant I dreamt I had slugs and matted hair oozing from my toes. My bloke still takes the micky and torments me about it!!

Dream last night, I gave birth to a micro pig, but it wouldn't eat enough and was getting thin!!

Delbelleber · 15/01/2020 21:38

Lol a micro pig so random, like the labradors! I wonder if it's a common thing for pregnant women to dream of giving birth to animals

When I was pregnant every single dream I had - every one - four magpies appeared in it (I kept a pregnancy diary). Didn't find out the sex. DS popped out. Four for a boy...probably coincidence but weird.

I had really vivid dreams in my first trimester. I actually used to dream about lost loved ones a lot for some reason.

My DH has started having dreams about the upcoming labour. Last night he dreamt our car broke down so we had to cycle to hospital together on a tandem Grin
