Feel like it's happening again

I found out I was pregnant boxing day 2017. I was all symptoms, surprised it took me as long as it did to notice.
Then my symptoms vanished around 6 weeks. I became worried and booked in for a private scan to ease my mind. There was a sac, but no baby. A blighted ovum.

It was heart breaking.

I'm now 7+5, and the same thing has happened. I was feeling horrendous from week 5 until week 7 started. I felt a little better. Now my breast tenderness is completely gone, I'm able to go to the toilet and use perfume because my constipation and nausea have subsided.

I've made an appointment with the GP to be referred to the EPU. I'm just so sad to think this is happening again.

So tell me. Is there anyone who has completely lost their symptoms around 7 weeks and went on to have a healthy pregnancy? Or should I just start accepting it now.

Sorry to hear this!

I lost all of my symptoms at around 8 weeks for a couple of weeks then they came back full force throughout the rest of the pregnancy!!

My baby is now 4 weeks old!

Good luck, hope all goes well for you.

@Samantha1712xx oh God. Thank you you're like the first positive full loss of symptoms I've seen. Although I'm not too keen on the full pregnancy worth of tit pain and nausea... Though it would totally be worth it.
Congratulations, by the way!

A few people I know had the same as well so try not to panic! (Easier said than done, I know!)

Everything completely stopped for me! No nausea, boobs stopped hurting, felt completely normal! So I also paid for a private scan as I was thinking the worst and everything was just fine! Only started throwing my guts up at week 16!!

Everyone’s pregnancy is different! Fingers crossed for you! Let me know how it goes 😊

Every symptom stopped for me in both pregnancies, it seems to be a common subject on the boards.
Hope yours is fine as mine were.

I've been through both situations - in fact other times I felt awful and I was not pregnant any longer - try not to let it worry you (... like that's easy!) as you just don't know til you've had a scan - fwiw I had quite a number of miscarriages and now have my two gorgeous children so keep positive - I can tell you though that you'll just worry all the time, but it doesn't help or Make a difference of course, you've just got to try and not let it eat you up inside - you'll get there 😉

I lost most of my symptoms at week 6 and also had a bit of brown spotting so thought the worse. Had a private scan at 8 weeks and it showed healthy heartbeat and dates matched exactly. Still haven't got many of the symptoms back and am now 10+4 other than gas/bloating/constipation (fun!) and my midwife said at my booking appointment some people don't get the usual symptoms.

As a previous poster said everyone's pregnancy is different!

Thanks guys ❤️ so good to hear some positive news.
I've got a scan tomorrow, trying not to resign myself or get my hopes up.

Brilliant news!

That's wonderful @3rdchristmaslucky congrats! My first pregnancy was a MMC and I felt a loss of symptoms at 10w and found out the bad news at an 11w scan. Understandably felt really anxious with my next pregnancy and she is now running around the living room insisting that she is not yet ready for bed Smile

Congrats and wish you a smooth pregnancy!

Samantha1712xx · 18/01/2020 15:13

Yay glad to hear it!! Congrats!
