Thinking ahead about childcare

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has any advice about ad-lib childcare. I am self employed and don’t work every day. My work hours vary completely from week to week . Is there any form of childcare where you don’t have to book them in for specific days each week?
Thanks x

I think that would be difficult to find tbh.

My nursery offer ms flexi spaces for people who work shifts but I think that has to be booked a couple of weeks in advance

That’s very unlikely I’m afraid.

We had to commit to one fixed day a week, and then could add in additional days round that BUT it was subject to availability, so if they were full, it was a no.
It would probably depend on how much notice you could give about how easy it would be.
