I posted this in 'conception' too as I wasn't sure where to post.

I'm looking for a bit of advice, maybe to see if any of you lovely ladies have experienced the same.. 2 weeks ago I missed 2 days of my pill, I didn't have sex within those days but did a few days later, so don't think I took enough to be protected when I said sex. Anyway, since last Monday I have had painful breasts and still do. It's gotten to the point I've had to wear a sports bra because an ordinary one is unbearable. I also keep having waves of nausea. I've taken 6 TESTS! All negative. The problem is, I don't know when my period is due because I don't get them because of my pill. Is it too early to test? Am I being paranoid? Even when I did get a period my breasts were only sore for 3-4 days prior. It's been 8 days now. My nipples sting and seem to always be erect whether I'm not or cold. I had cramping the past 3 days too but not today. I'm also thinking is this just because I missed 2 days of my pill? Any advice would be appreciated 😊

If you only had sex about a week and a half ago then I think it could be too early to tell on a test. You would have had to have ovulated around the time you had sex or up to a few days after and that means you would only be about 10 days post ovulation max. A lot of tests are unreliable that early. Have you tried one specifically for testing early?

In terms of symptoms, sore breasts can be a symptom but it could be something else and a lot of people don't get symptoms at all this early. I think you might have to keep testing over the next 2 or 3 weeks.

Thank you @Keha. That's what I was thinking, it would be too early. Also no, just cheapy £1 tests. As I said I'm maybe being paranoid, I was just wondering if anyone had experienced anything similar 😊 I'd rather just know than have all this uncertainty haha!

I don't know whether you want to be pregnant or not...but the waiting around to find out is the hardest. Good luck with whatever the outcome is.
