Period type pains at nearly 37 weeks

Currently 36+6 and have been having period like cramps since this about lunchtime today plus just generally feeling a bit odd - bit sick, light headed, spaced out. The cramps aren't too bad and are constant rather than coming and going so I'm assuming not contractions... but might this be a sign that things are starting? I've been having BH for a few weeks now which I never had with my first (born by planned CS for medical reasons at 39 wks) so things feel a bit different this time round. Didn't have labour last time so don't really know what it feels like. I've got an ELCS booked for this baby at 39+1 due to pre existing medical condition plus a whole load still to finish at work so would really prefer baby to stay put until then if possible...

Call the maternity unit and explain your symptons especially as you are booked for a csection. I had a similar experience and was taken in for observation apparently I had an irritable uterusConfused
