Needing some kind words and reassurance.

So I've had 2 scans already,9 one and 6 weeks and another at 8w 5d and baby has been perfectly fine in both!

I went to see my midwife last Thursday and then Friday she rang me and asked if I could come back for another scan which I have tomorrow due to me having a missed miscarriage 3 years ago. I'm not absolutely petrified and keep thinking I've had a mmc or something will go wrong.

I guess I'm just looking for some positive stories and reassurance because I feel so alone and scared but no one seems to understand.

Hi OP, just wanted to say that I understand. I had a MMC in the summer and now pregnant again. 7 week scan was fine but 12 week one is next week and tbh I just feel kind of blank and bleak.. pregnancy after MMC is very difficult mentally so take care of yourself

Are you worried because the midwife has called you back? If they said everything was okay at the scan, I can't see what the midwife would know now that would change that. MMC are pretty rare, if you read these boards you may hear people talk about them a lot, but that is because people tend to reply to messages that they can relate to. Just remember a MMC is still very unlikely even if you have had one before and especially if you had a good scan at 8w. It's okay to be worried though. Look after yourself and fingers crossed for you tomorrow.
