Hi!

So for the last few days I've been having what I thought was standard UTI symptoms. The last day or so, I have been unable to wee apart from once or twice even though I drink at least 1.5l of water a day.

Went to the doctor's today and they said I had a lot of protein in my urine which is apparently a massive concern for how much was in there, they also took bloods and told me to wait for the results of the urine sample and blood tests to come back in 3-4 days.

I wasn't really given any clue as to what it was but was just told try not to worry?

It's my first baby and previously had a miscarriage so I'm obviously worried but just wondered if anyone had been through this or know if this is normal?

TIA x

Protein can be a sign of preeclampsia but this wouldn’t happen at 15 weeks typically, it’s normally much later from what I’ve read, it’s more likely to be a UTI or yeast infection or something I would think. Good luck xx
