I have miscarried one week ago and wants to TTC after a full recovery.

I am thinking of get some preparation done before conception ( get my hair dyed back to natural color) just want to get some opinion on should I get a flu jab before conception, does it cause any problems?

Thank you for your help.

You can get it during pregnancy so I don't think it will cause problems when ttc.

I had my flu jab on a Wednesday at what was 3+5, although obviously I wasn't aware of that yet Smile I get it free from work as part of my private healthcare so didn't get to pick the date.

I told the nurse that I was in the TWW and she said it was no problem at all. (She did then tell me to pray on a BFP but that's another story!).

Had my BFP on the Sunday after that (maybe it was the praying?! Grin ) Still early days (now 10 weeks) but had a reassurance scan at exactly 8 weeks and measured perfectly for dates and we got to see a very healthy heartbeat so it hasn't caused me any issues.

No problem at all - I meant to say sorry for your miscarriage too. Fingers crossed for a happy healthy pregnancy for you very soon (and avoiding flu for that matter too!) xx
