I've got an epac appointment in the next couple of days, due to probable miscarriage. What are people's experiences of the EPAC? I can't imagine many people leave there with happy news.

I have had more experience with EPAC than I would like. I had a miscarriage in March 2019 and went to one of two EAPC centres near me. They were pretty efficient and kind even though there was nothing they could do to stop the miscarriage.

I've just this weekend finished bleeding from an ectopic pregnancy that resolved (Pregnancy of Unknown Location) and went to the other EPAC.

Both were wonderful and kind it was just a shame I had bad news both time.

I'm not sure what you're asking, the EPAC is just as likely to be able to give god news (on the first pregnancy we saw a heartbeat but I miscarried anyway).

I wish you lunch for your appointment and hope you get good news x

I'm so sorry to hear about your completely awful time. I never appreciated the complete emotional and physical shit storm that comes with pregnancy loss before.

I always assumed that an EPAC referral basically meant bad news, but having spend the WHOLE weekend diving into every internet page I can find on it, it has given me a glimmer of hope 🤞
