Any ladies here birthed at good hope hospital? How many birth partners wer u allowed?

This is where I'll be birthing

We've been told 2 birthing partners. I'd avoid having too many incase of complications, there was 6 medical staff involved in the birth of my daughter, there wouldn't have been room for any extra birthing partners!

Yeh i only want two my OH and my mum 😊 when r u due beau?

DIL gave birth there last yr, 2 at any one time but had another, so they were able to take breaks, go to eat etc, so you should be fine with 2, good luck! x

My DSis was born there...42yrs ago, she's turned out okay 😊😁

I had both my children there (now 1 and 3). They do a group guided visit when you're past 36 weeks ish. That was really useful for us to ask any questions/ see the facilities. I had 2 brilliant experiences, lovely staff and nice food!

August! Might change to heartlands depending if I'm high risk though will find out at my 12 weeks scan

I'm due to give birth at Good Hope, although every time I've tried to speak to anyone about touring the ward I've been told different things, phone up, ask in person at the next appointment and more recently, they don't do the tour anymore? Due next week and still haven't seen where I'll give birth 🙈 not that I care too much anyway!

Shutupsteph im due in the next few weeks too- find out my date wednesday... i havnt seen or know exactlt wher it is either... expecting twins and they r my 5th and 6th but iv always gone to city but they fucked up with my last two babies so i chose “no hope” this time lol

Im high risk... they kept me under good hope jus said if babies come before 34 weeks go straight to heartlands but had all my othee appts at good hope x
