Nub theory guesses?!

I know it's so impatient but I'm so excited to know the sex, what do people think based on the nub theory? This was my scan today at 11+5 😊

I am not a nub theory expert at all but going by skull, looks like my little boy.
Congratulations either way, are you going to find out early or wait? 😊

@SparkleUK aww how far along are you or is he here now? I am deffo going to find out I don't have the will power to wait!! 🙈

He isn't here yet, feels like I've been pregnant forever! I'm 34+3 😊

How exciting for you! I found out at 16 weeks too and then he flashed the NHS sonographer so she could confirm it for me haha

Can someone explain how it works? Or simply why you think what you do as I don’t get it! Am following to see if there is a consensus :-)

@SparkleUK oh bet you're getting so impatient now! I wish I was that far along! I hope the last few weeks goes quickly for you!! Haha no mistaking he is a boy then 🤣 I plan to find out at 16 weeks too 😊

@DandyLyon thanks!! I'm secretly hoping someone might say girl as I would love a little girl but I'm just so glad whatever that he/she is healthy 😊

The nub looks girly at the moment but 11+5 is too early for the nub theory so it could still change.

I think girl! Nub seems to be pointing downward compared to the spine angle.

It's not the easiest one to tell or I may have tired eyes but I'd say girl

I am a nub expert and that’s a girl. Forked and in line with the spine.

However at 11+5, it has time to rise so could still be a boy.

@aNonnyMouse1511 thanks for replying!! Could you tell me how far along the nub theory will be more reliable? As I have another scan on the 21st which will make me 13+1 😊

13+1 is reliable but you may not see a nub if the scan isn’t as clear x
