I had my second last week, at 27. Was 25 when I had my first. My DH is 10 years older than me though which did factor into our decision to have them when we did

Realladymarmalade · 12/01/2020 22:50

42 😬🙈

(Side note: I look about 37 I'd say thanks to good botox. 🤣 but around may time my face is going to fall in as I cannot have botox when pregnant 😬)

Have DC 9 and 6.

I'm now going to scan this thread to find any other reassuringly equally old birds .

BelfastNonBlonde · 13/01/2020 14:26
  1. First pregnancy. I would like one, MAYBE two more sooner rather than later..
shutupsteph · 13/01/2020 14:27

24, turning 25 on friday and DC is due a week on wednesday. not the youngest of my circle to do it but I feel far too young! it doesn't help that I still look about 12 😂

samjacklogi88 · 13/01/2020 14:46

I'm 31 on my second pregnancy was 29 when I had my first born

Erin85 · 13/01/2020 15:17

I’m 34, gonna turn 35 in March and expecting my first in early July.

MonicaGellerHyphenBing · 13/01/2020 15:35

I’m 29 and pregnant with my second (and most definitely last). I personally wanted to be done by 30 but do not think that 37 is too old.

EnglishRain · 13/01/2020 15:49

27 and pregnant with my first. I met DH at 19 though, if I had met him later then baby would be later too. I'm very risk averse and wanted certain things in place before TTC, mainly to be financially stable. If we had lived somewhere with a tricky job market etc it would be a different story.

Mol5 · 13/01/2020 17:17

I'm 25/nearly 26.
We started TTC young-ish on purpose knowing of potential difficulties and in the end it took 3 years of fertility treatment just to conceive this pregnancy - so doubt there will be any other future pregnancies.

littlemama18 · 13/01/2020 17:19

I was 19 when I had my first (and only)!

littlemama18 · 13/01/2020 17:20

And I always feel like the youngest!

fatisnotafeeling · 13/01/2020 17:46

I am 38 and 25 weeks with my 4th will be 39 when he's born, I feel very old and have struggled much more with this pregnancy.

I was 20 -29 and 31 with my other 3 DC.

bubblesqueek · 13/01/2020 20:15

@shutupsteph best thing I done being pregnant at 20 we started early incase of problems but happened within two weeks but now my little girl is 6 and it's like we are more like sisters which I like that bond.

I think it's lovely starting in 30s and things but personally preferred to be younger, some people are career driven and some people arnt.. I was never really one to love work and had a family business so was just assumed I carried that on however at 26 took the leap and Iv left and finally don't something I love doing well starting the first steps of before our other little whirlwind is due ha xx

Bonnie246 · 13/01/2020 20:59

30, expecting my first in August Smile

LolaLollypop · 13/01/2020 21:05

Just turned 37 and expecting no2 next month. Had my DD at 34.

Waited til it was the right time for me and my DH but glad I didn't leave it any later. Quite a few of my friends are still trying and having problems.

Won't be having any more after this one!

Nelly325 · 13/01/2020 21:10

29 and baby #2. Was 28 for my first. I think people are definitely having them later, we were the first couple in our entire friendship group to have a baby.

Carouselfish · 13/01/2020 21:42
  1. Only just felt ready to try this year. Have four yr old already.
helpasisterout · 13/01/2020 21:46

24😊

Bookworm83 · 14/01/2020 09:46
  1. (I will turn 37 before the baby is born). It's my first and probably only baby.
melinda93 · 14/01/2020 10:52

@WorldsOnFire I'm in the same situation! I'm 26, expecting my first baby in April. None of my friends or even my older siblings(sister is 33, brother is 31) have kids yet. And everyone lives in my home country, so i feel a bit lonely and nervous.
Hubby is 24, so his friends don't have kids yet either. Oh wait, actually one of them has a boy, but the friend moved to London not soon after the baby was born....so (i know it's mean but) he doesn't really count...

cezza1923 · 14/01/2020 15:55

I'm 42, will be 43 when baby arrives. I have a 16 year old daughter and a 12 year old son. Still trying to get my head around our unexpected news.

Claudia3771 · 14/01/2020 16:02

22 and pregnant with my 1st who is due on my 23rd birthday!

After been told I might not be able to have kids, this is completely unexpected but I couldn't be happier! Seems like ideal timing for me too - graduated uni, new job at a great company (they're very supportive) and moving into a new house.
