Hi Ladies, quick question. Today I am 6 weeks pregnant and I went to the toilet this afternoon and noticed pinkish discharge on the tissue. Now this evening , it's happened again. After 2 miscarriages and a year of trying. I am petrified its happening again. Has anyone else had this?? I have done a hell of a lot over the last 2 days and was wondering if it could be that??I still have all my symptoms, shattered, sore boobs/nipples and nauseous?any advice??

I have had this - quite strong spotting/blood at approx 6 Weeks and went on to have a totally successful pregnancy. I did go to a walk-in just to get it checked on an ultrasound scan - most hospitals advise you do go in if you're worried about any bleeding. You can call their maternity unit and ask what to do if you're worried.

Thank you for your reply, its reassuring. I had 2 missed miscarriages so I didn't have this before. And I don't remember with my boys as they are 10 and 6.

I had brown and pink spotting from about 5-7 weeks on and off. Apparently spotting is most common around this time and as long as it doesn't get heavier it is very common and not necessarily a sign of anything wrong. However they do recommend you contact your midwife just in case, they booked me in for an early scan with mine.

All was fine with me, they didn't know what caused the spotting and I haven't had it since and I'm now 16 weeks. Some women get spotting throughout pregnancy but have healthy babies.

I had the same, even more than you're describing, I was convinced I was having a miscarriage as first pregnancy and didn't realise it could be fairly common. Everything was fine so try not to worry. Implantation was mentioned but not sure

Hi I’m 5+3 just now and mine started yesterday and also had 2 MMC in the last year. I phoned my local EPU on advice of my community midwife and they’re seeing me this Friday.

Hi Ladies, thank you for your advice and experiences. I went to A&E early this morning with a suspected ectopic pregnancy as had spotting, pain and shoulder tip pain. I ended up being admitted, and after 5 hours having a scan and bloods. Turns out I am slightly less than originally thought, 5 weeks 4 days and I have 2 gestational sacs one empty and the other with a healthy size yolk. And my HCG is over 15000. They were really positive saying its fairly common to have spotting at this stage but also that the second sac could have been a second pregnancy that wasnt viable causing the spotting. Having another scan in 10 days. But all is looking good. Just got home after 12 hrs!!!x
