HCG LEVELS DROPPED?

Ladybug4023 · 10/01/2020 18:40

Hi all

I finally got my HCG levels result back for those who have been following me.

My HCG levels were 99 on Thursday January 2nd

And yesterday - January 9 it was 90

It only went down 9 "points" and it's been a week.

Should I be worried?

I'm not bleeding anymore or cramping.

I bled from the 31st until the 7th and now I'm not at all.

However, I do think I have an infection. Seems like BV -_-

Any input is very much appreciated.

Xx Ladybug

I thought they are meant to double every 48hrs? I hope things work out ok for you x

EDIT:

They DROPPED from 99 to 90 in a WEEK and I had bled before this. Cramps. Clots. But is it supposed to only drop 9 points in a WEEK?

Doctor also ordered an ultrasound before my follow up appointment.
Why would he do that?
He said he doesn't think it's ectopic

I'm scared )-:

I'm sorry about your pregnancy @OP.

I guess your doctor wants to check that you eliminated everything. Your HCG not dropping makes me think that there might be something inside your uterus. Go and get checked if you're in doubt of infection. An infection that's not treated can turn out in sepsis.

How are things going @Ladybug4023, I’ve been thinking of you x

@Monsterjam Thanks so much for thinking of me. Yeah, my HCG levels were 99 then 90 a week later...
Scares me how they're dropping so slow. But my doctor doesn't think it's a viable pregnancy. I haven't bled in over a week but when I did bleed it was for 4-5 days.

I have an ultrasound tomorrow morning to see where everything's at and what my options are.

I really don't want a D and C. Scares me silly. So I'm hoping there are other options. Hope you're well. Xx Ladybug
