How to beat the fatigue without caffeine?!

Hello everyone , I’m 5 + 4 and really finding the overwhelming tiredness a huge battle at the moment! Completely gone off coffee after being a 3 cup a day person, and trying to keep caffeine down or even out of the picture due to rubbish sleep at the moment too.

I’d be grateful for any tips and tricks to keep me awake! 16:45 now and I’m ready for bed! I also have a 4 yr old DD energy sapper

A small amount of caffeine is ok as long as you keep on eye on it.

Plenty of water and energy releasing foods

The first trimester is just exhausting, anyhow. You’ll adapt to the lack of caffeine in a few days, and then if you stay hydrated, take regular exercise and have regular sleep patterns it’s much easier to cope.

It’s such a bizarre feeling to me, with my first I was more nauseous than tired but it’s other way round this time. Will do some “superfood” gimmicks n see if they make a difference lol I tend to graze usually but no appetite or temptation to!

You've got to get through it how you can I think!! You'll be better off pushing through without caffeine but a small amount say in Coke Zero is ok. Just sleep sleep sleep whenever you can even if it's naps at random times of day, and eat little and often!

The NHS says 200mg of caffeine is fine

Take naps where you can.
I've gone right off caffeine too after being about a 3 coffee and 3 tea a day girl. The withdrawal and exhaustion hit hard.
