Do you go by LMP or ov date?

As the title says. By LMP I’m 7 weeks today but 100% know I didn’t ovulate (used ovusense) until 11th December which actually makes me no further than 6+2. I’m assuming medical staff will go by LMP until my 12 week scan but no sure what to go by on my pregnancy app. Thanks.

Congratulations!

You go by LMP and so will the midwife. In my area unless you are more than 10 days out on your 12 week scan they stick by your LMP!

Go by your Lmp then when you have your dating scan input that due date you get.

I have log cycles and ovulated late so there's about 9 days difference if I go by LMP or ovulation date.
I had an early private scan and the ovulation date was more accurate but the midwife is still going by LMP until my dating scan x

*Long cycles not log

I have super long cycles due to PCOS, and my LMP was in early September, but I ovulated early November - I used Ovusense too so I know the exact date. I say my last LMP was 2 weeks before ovulation date - it means all your tests, scans and appointments etc will happen at the right time for you 😊
I read that advice on this forum actually, and I read it was common for Ovusense users! x
