Squishy changing mat review?

Hi everyone.

Browsing the net for a good changing mat to buy for baby. I came across this gorgeous looking "Squishy changing mat" - shnuggle.com/product/shnuggle-squishy-changing-mat

Has anyone used these? Anyone found it overpowering in its chemically scent?

A friend of mine used this and she said her baby grew out of it in less than 6 months, it smelt awful and she couldn't get the scent out of it and the baby didn't seem comfortable. They look lovely though, I was about to order one when she told me she didn't like it. I went with a wedge style mat from amazon!

We love ours, especially when little one pees mid change - the mat is angled, so it drains down and keeps them dry.
