Hi I’m really new to this forum but I was hoping I could get some help.
As a back story, I came off the pill 2 years ago and, after 2 months of constant bleeding, my periods evened out and they became regular every 34 (give or take 3 or so days) and only lasted 3 days and were very light.
My last period started on 12th October and lasted 3 days like usual. My next period was due around the 14th November, however it didn’t show up, it also didn’t show up in December so I’ve essentially missed 2 periods now. I’ve taken multiple pregnancy tests and they’ve all come back negative, I’ve had a blood test and ultrasound when I was 10/11 days late but they didn’t show anything. I’ve had on and off PMS symptoms like cramping and sore breasts over the past 2 months.
Last Friday (3rd Jan) I went to the toilet and when I wiped there was a small amount of blood on the tissue which went away after the first wipe. I didn’t get anything else for the rest of the day or overnight but then the next day the same thing happened and again it was only one wipe and then it stopped. On Monday the bleeding was and off through out the day but still not enough to actually show in my underwear, it was only went I wiped, I also noticed very small black and red clots and red stringy like stuff on the tissue; the clots are quite tough but stretchy. The blood is also mixed which discharge and I’ve been having mild cramps on and off. This has been happening for the past 4 days now and I’m starting to become concerned. I spoke to a doctor on Monday and she said she doesn’t think it’s pregnancy related however the only thing I can find online relate to a miscarriage. I’m getting more blood tests done tomorrow but I’m wondering if anyone has ever been through anything similar?
