Maternity grant - another child

Hi. I'm asking for a friend. If someone is having a first baby and their dp has a six year old with a previous partner, are they eligible. The six year old lives with the mother.

Im sorry if ive misunderstood, but if it's the woman's first child, she should be eligible.
