Terrified of telling boss!

I’m just over 21 weeks. I’ve told one boss and now I need to tell the other.

I feel like a fraud and a liar as I gave a million different reasons for not drinking at the Christmas party to my boss. I also said that I didn’t want another baby yet (which was true but I was already pregnant by then!)

My boss lives and works 3 hours away so I don’t see them often.

I also have a 10 month old and only came back to work mid October.

Help!

OP I really feel for you! I was petrified also and I also lied at the Christmas party and just said I didn't feel well. I even left early and felt so embarrassed.

My boss also lives around 3 hours from me and I work from home!! I actually told him today and surprisingly he was so supportive. He has just had twins himself so he was super understanding and I felt relieved that it's now off my chest! Hope they go easy on you x

I will have to say something tomorrow though as it’s getting harder to hide

I think one of the excuses I gave for not drinking was “once I have one I don’t stop” which is why I don’t drink (pre pregnancy) as I only drink to get drunk although obviously my main reason for not drinking this time is the pregnancy
