Symptoms fading

Hello

I'm just reaching 11 weeks pregnant and my symptoms are fading.

My extremely sore boobs since week 4 no longer hurt & morning sickness seems to come and go on a daily basis.

Is this normal? I'm worrying as had two previous miscarriages although my symptoms didn't fade with those until after.

My scan is next week. I have had a reassurance scan at 9 weeks and baby was fine. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Yes it's normal. The same thing happened to me around that point. I've had two MCs too so was worried sick. The sore boobs and nausea came back a little but nowhere near the same level. Please try not to worry (easier said than done, I know).

The placenta kicks in around the 8-12 week mark which can greatly reduce symptoms. This is perfectly normal, but if your worried, contact your midwife.

I am 10 weeks and since 1 week my symptoms have gone down so I think it's the placenta which makes the symptoms go away so shouldn't anything to worry about xx

Thank you all so much. I feel much more reassured.
I am actually seeing my midwife today so I'll ask her but I'm sure she will say the same as you.

I no on my 9 week scan they could see the start of the umbilical cord forming I can't believe a placenta can make that much difference 🙈🙈 x

As PPs have said, it's probably due to the placenta taking over. You're on the cusp of the gorgeous second trimester, enjoy it!!

I had the same experience, am 32 weeks now. Should be the placenta taking over, enjoy!
