Positive FRER but negative normal tests

Good morning everyone

After some severe food poisoning right after ovulation and practically no early symptoms (apart from the nausea which I thought was due to the FP and an insatiable desire for a burger and chips on Sunday) it turns out I'm pregnant according to two FRERs. I can't believe it. I had implantation bleeding yesterday (very short, light brown CM and totally unusual for me). I haven't been with OH very long so it's all happened sooner than we thought (cycle 2) but we're thrilled.

I've tested with a normal test and absolutely nothing. I'm due AF on Friday. Is it possible that FRERs are ever wrong?

That looks like a strong positive to me maybe its early and the other pregnancy tests are just not sensitive enough wait for 3 days and then do a normal pregnancy test again should really be positive

FRERs test at 10mlU/mL and normal tests are 25.

Give it a few days and try a normal test, frer are sensitive. I got my bfp at 8dpo!

Thank you! That's helpful

Definitely not! That’s a positive. My af is due Friday and I just got my bfp! :)
I’ve just started a September board if you fancy some company x

Sounds like the normal test isn’t as sensitive as a frer. A lot of them are for after your period is due. Congratulations! X
