As the title says really. I'm a nervous wreck it will happen again, I'm currently 7 weeks constant knocker checking due to extra CM making me feel damp, I had stopped testing but have now started them again 😓 I have a scan in ten days to confirm dates as they aren't certain and I just cannot stop worrying about going in and then not finding a heartbeat again. Any success stories or handholding welcome x

I totally understand how you're feeling! I had a MMC in 2018 - found out at my 12 week scan that baby's heart had stopped beating. I then had another MC a few months later. I got pregnant in October and I was terrified. Also had a lot of CM and constantly had to check for bleeding. I've not had many pregnancy symptoms so kept expecting another MMC... however, I had 6,8,9,10 and 12 week scans. Baby looking good at all of them. Did have a small bleed at 9 weeks but it was ok. I'm just about to reach 15 weeks. Still very anxious but think the anxiety won't go away until I have my baby!

I hope it all goes well for you xx

Hi @RedRobin7 I'm sorry you went through that, my MMC was the same found at my 12 week scan in June followed by a CP in September and now 7 weeks again. It's absolutely petrifying isn't it. I haven't had a scan yet this time I think I'm half putting it off incase there's something wrong, I can't cope with the heartbreak again. I wish the effing CM would let up it's got me on edge! I'm glad everything is going well so far 🤞🏼 x

I'm sorry you went through that. I had a MMC last January. Scan at 12 weeks showed growth stopped at 7. I then got pregnant again, and suddenly lost that one at 8 weeks in June. I'm now 17 weeks pregnant. I was given 2 early scans and my normal 12 weeks. Then today, the midwife couldn't find the heartbeat at my appointment. I was sent up to the hospital and scanned straightaway. There's the little monkey on the screen waving at me!!! I nearly had a heart attack, but apparently it's quite common for them not to find the heartbeat so early.

I was doom and gloom but I'm starting to get a bit brighter (today doesn't count, right?!!). You've just got to think every day takes you closer, and the odds are in your favour. I'm starting to feel more settled and starting to look forward now, albeit cautiously.

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

I am feeling exactly the same! I had a MMC back in May and found out at my 12 week scan, no signs or warnings so I have no reassurance from any symptoms as it all meant nothing last time.
I, similarly, have been avoiding booking my initial booking appointment and an early scan as I just don’t think I can stomach the bad news again.. but I am being brave and booked an early scan for Thursday - nothing I can do to change it and I am constantly trying to stop myself getting carried away with excited thoughts!
It is so difficult going through this after a MC but we are definitely not alone!!
Best wishes with everything

Thank you @SnoozyLou @jeels sometimes I feel it helps just knowing your not alone in your madness doesn't it. As supportive as the OH's can be they just don't understand do they. I thought I was getting better each day but the last 2-3 days it's hit me hard, yesterday was my due date for the MMC so I think that'll be why as we unfortunately know how wrong things can go. I was the same I still had symptoms and was even starting to show as the pregnancy sac was still there and growing 😓 so no reassurance from symptoms either! You must have been terrified today when that happened @SnoozyLou the little bugger, glad it's all ok, so much luck to you for your scan @jeels Keep me posted won't you x

@BabyB19 My symptoms faded out completely around 12 weeks but the scan showed me everything was ok. That was a kind of marker for me. I did start to calm down from there as that does take the likelihood down a lot.

I felt sorry for the midwife to be honest. No pressure or anything! I did think I heard it for a second though and she did too so that made it bearable. Just about! I read afterwards that it's really common not to be able to find it though.

Hope you have a happy healthy pregnancy without too much worry xx

Right on queue I've just started with some pink CM 😓 such a stressful time @SnoozyLou x

Oh no. I'd ring the midwife in the morning. It does happen to a lot and needn't be anything sinister, but I'd get it checked. Hope you're ok xx

BabyB19 · 07/01/2020 23:23

Thank you I will give her a ring when I get up, I've still been doing the odd IC and still a good strong line this morning but the sight of pink just makes you panic doesn't it 😓 @SnoozyLou xx

FWIW with both my MMC and MC I had brown, old blood. A lot of women have pink discharge at your stage and are fine. Hope you're alright xx

jeels · 08/01/2020 15:20

@BabyB19 I hope everything went well today.

Kirstenkl · 08/01/2020 15:29

Same, same. I miscarried at 11 weeks last year, now 8 weeks and it's not that much fun...

I can't face reassurance scans or anything. I'm pretty much just pretending it's not happening which is helping keep me sane. I haven't even taken a pregnancy test so I hope it doesn't turn out that I'm not pregnant at all and I have some freak illness where I don't get my period and my boobs get massive 😂

BabyB19 · 08/01/2020 15:34

It seemed to just be a tiny bit and stopped again so I'm just taking it easy and trying not to panic thanks @jeels not got pains or anything and still testing positive. Thank you for checking in on me ❤️
OMG @Kirstenkl that's crazy! I was a maniac testing I'm the opposite and need to know what's going on in there! Shows how differently we all cope doesn't it. 8 weeks is 2/3 of the way to the 'safe zone' though so fingers crossed for you ❤️
